It will hurt for years or maybe a life time after you loose a soul you have truly loved in your life: a (ex)husband, mother, father, child, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, boyfriend, animal, etc.
A certain song suddenly triggers you, something someone says, a place you visited together, a movie you're watching, things you bought together, a photo of the two of together when everything was still good, a dream...
Everything can hit you all at once, tears start flowing and a deep sense of grieve and happiness is felt at the same time...
But FAITH, over time, helps you to deal with these losses and will help you to slowly move on and be content and happy!
I am at this point in my life right now.
