SPIRIT - The Experience of Wholeness

METHOD: 8-Week Course

Union of Body, Mind, and Spirit
In yoga, wholeness means experiencing harmony between the physical body, the thinking mind, and the deeper spirit. Self-awareness allows students to recognize this connection, leading to greater balance, less stress, and more resilience in daily life.

Returning to Your True Self
Through self-awareness practices, students learn to peel away layers of distraction, fear, or societal pressure, and reconnect with their authentic nature. The benefit is clarity, confidence, and inner peace.

Living Beyond Separation
Yoga teaches that suffering often comes from feeling separate – from others, from nature, or from our own inner self. Wholeness is the opposite: an awareness of deep connection with life. Students who invest in self-awareness cultivate compassion, belonging, and a greater sense of purpose.

Integration of All Experiences
Wholeness doesn’t mean being perfect; it means embracing both strengths and struggles as part of the human experience. Through yoga, breathwork, and meditation, students integrate these aspects and grow stronger from them. The benefit is emotional freedom and acceptance.

8-Week Course: "The Path to Spiritual Wholeness"

Each week focuses on one limb of the Eightfold Path, combining theory + practice.
Sessions: 90 minutes (60 min yoga practice + 30 min reflection/theory).

What is the Eightfold Path?
  • A Roadmap to Inner Peace The Eightfold Path is a step-by-step guide from yoga philosophy that teaches us how to live with integrity, care for our body, calm the mind, and connect to our deeper self.
  • Balance of Life Practices It combines ethics (how we live with others and ourselves), physical movement, breathwork, meditation, and self-realization into one holistic system.
  • From Outer to Inner The path begins with how we act in daily life (yamas and niyamas), moves through caring for the body (asana, pranayama), and leads us inward (pratyahara, dharana, dhyana) toward ultimate union (samadhi).
  • Yoga Beyond Postures Many know yoga as poses, but the Eight Limbs show it’s much more: it’s about lifestyle, breath, focus, meditation, and spiritual awakening.
  • A Compass for Wholeness The Eight Limb Path is like a compass for personal growth, helping us align body, mind, and spirit so we can live with clarity, peace, and purpose.

Learning Objectives:
Week 1 – Yamas (Ethics, connection with others)
Week 2 – Niyamas (Personal discipline, self-care)
Week 3 – Asana (Postures, care for the body)
Week 4 – Pranayama (Breath control)
Week 5 – Pratyahara (Withdrawal of senses)
Week 6 – Dharana (Concentration)
Week 7 – Dhyana (Meditation)
Week 8 – Samadhi (Union, wholeness)
