It’s time to let go of eating habits that do not serve you and develop an eating lifestyle that reflects YOUR personal values and goals. In this 5 week series we will explore:
  • Freeing yourself from unhealthy eating patterns
  • Letting go of the need to control your body and trusting the transformation process
  • How (and why) to transition to a plant-based way of life
  • Concepts of vegetarianism, veganism, ahimsa, ayurveda, and your yoga lifestyle
  • How what you eat affects how you feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
  • Mindful eating and how it can help you sustain lifelong healthy habits
  • Plant-based cooking and shopping
  • Yoga moves for improved digestion
  • How to get your family on-board to support your wellness and theirs too (including kids!)

***Each workshop will include a vegan food demo & tasting! Learn to make your own vegetable sushi, sauerkraut, and other plant-based treats!***

This interactive workshop series is perfect for anyone who is:
  • curious about exploring or adopting aspects of plant-based or cruelty-free eating
  • unhappy with the way they are eating and looking to make a change
  • newly vegetarian or vegan seeking support to make these new changes stick for good
  • ready to build a more positive relationship with food for themselves and for their families

***This is a “no-judgments” environment. Come as you are, wherever you are in your process. You do not have to be vegan to join this workshop. Just come curious!***

Bio: Meredith Marin, MSW (Master of Social Work) is a native New Yorker living on Aruba with her Aruban husband and 1.5 year old daughter. Meredith has worked in the field of community wellness for the past 6 years, specializing in food justice, obesity prevention, and childhood nutrition and fitness. 

​She has facilitated wellness and cooking classes at hospitals, schools, health spas, and community spaces, in addition to coaching individual clients toward building positive relationships with food. Meredith currently teaches Community Empowerment at the University of Aruba, consults for a digital wellness app, and cooks three vegan meals a day for her little family.

Meredith started the Instagram account @veganaruba to bring awareness to plant-based living on Aruba (yes, it is possible!) and to build community.

She looks forward to meeting you in October!
