Class Description

Hot Hatha
Happy Buddha Aruba is the only yoga studio in Aruba where you can enjoy heated yoga classes. Hot Hatha is a modified version of the original Bikram Yoga class. Within 60 minutes we'll guide you through the 26 yoga postures including two specific breathing exercises. Room temperature appr 38 degrees Celsius).


Hot Flow
Hot Flow is a Power Yoga (a mix of Bikram & Vinyasa Yoga) within semi-hot environment (room temperature appr 32 degrees Celsius). This class is for students who like challenges and have an intermediate to advanced level of yoga practice.

Hot) Deep Stretch
This is an excellent class (with or without heat) to destress and restore. Longer held yoga postures (calming, quieting poses), designed to help you unwind from your working day/week. It will feel like you just had a deep tissue massage because this class targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, tendons and joints plus its stimulates organ health. The postures will be held for 60 sec - 2 minutes. It's one of our most popular classes. Experience it yourself!

Hot Yin Yang 
The best of both worlds. Meditation and longer held positions (Yin Yoga) for the first part of the class. It's all about softening and surrendering. Second part of the class we'll move through an easy flow yoga practice. You'll love it! Embrace the heat and sparkle!

Vinyasa
Vinyasa, or "synchronized movement" is a dynamic yoga class because of the smooth way that the poses run together. Vinyasa or Power Yoga are the most popular contemporary Western styles of yoga rooted in Ashtanga yoga tradition. Vinyasa is a non-heated dynamic yoga class. After the Sun Salutations you move from one posture to another. This will turn up your internal thermostate. 

Pilates
Pilates is an exercises method created by Joseph Pilates. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. 


CardioBeatz 
This is a low impact class with uplifting music that will tone up all the muscles around the core and focuses on the ‘problem’ areas of the abdominals, buttocks and thigh muscles. Sportshoes required. 

CorePower
Intense music driven class to increase muscular endurance and strengthen the body. Sportshoes required.


YOGA RETREAT DAYS - Guided Meditation & Master Yoga Class (Fee AWG 50 or $ 30 pp)
Every month we conduct a themed 4-hour event on a Sunday. Practice ancient techniques to calm your mind and recharge your body.

ICEMAN WORKSHOPS (WIM HOF METHOD) - Intense Breathwork, Mindset & Cold Therapy
Every month we conduct a 90 minute workshop in which we practice the breath technique as recommended by Wim Hof (also known as the IceMan) and adjacent we coach each in cold therapy (either in the form of a icebucket challenge or icewater bath).
